Kenneth D. Chicos is the Treasurer and Budget Director for Christie Campus Health, LLC. Mr. Chicos is the former Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of The Chickering Group, the nation’s leading provider of student health insurance, which was acquired by Aetna Life Insurance Company in 2003. Mr. Chicos focused on the evaluation and management of Chickering’s operational and financial controls. He had oversight of actuarial, claims administration and customer service, as well as back up sales and client services. Prior to 1988, Mr. Chicos owned and managed independent agencies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is experienced in business transactions vis-à-vis outside legal counsel, outside accountants, and internal legal and financial apparatus. Mr. Chicos holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. Mr. Chicos served on the Board of Trustees at the Tower School in Marblehead, MA from 2009-2015 and was Chair of the Advancement Committee, spearheading two capital campaigns and annual funds that that raised over $12.5 million for the school. Ken currently serves on the Dexter Southfield Board of Trustees on both the strategic long-range planning and advancement committees (2018-2020).
