Maryellen has over 20 years of experience in Student Health; most recently as the Vice President of Finance & Compliance for Christie Student Health Plans, LLC. Before joining Christie, Maryellen spent ten years at Aetna, where she served as the CFO of Aetna Student Health. Prior to joining Aetna, she played key leadership roles at The Chickering Group, a leading provider of student health insurance, where, as Vice President of Finance, she laid the infrastructure for a period of rapid growth. Maryellen holds a BS with Honors from Boston College and a JD with Honors from Suffolk University Law School. She currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of The Mary Christie Foundation. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
