Lynne Bannister has had a long career in public health and social services in both Connecticut and Boston. . She is presently a Systems Coordinator at Supportive Housing WORKS Inc., for the Social Innovation Fund grant that melds supportive housing with health care services to provide the best possible outcome, save public dollars and improve the lives of very vulnerable men and women. Prior to joining the organization, Lynne was an Executive Consultant with The Sable Group, Inc., in Weston, CT focusing on issues of diversity, health disparities and access to health care. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President at the Hall Neighborhood House in CT, and Special Assistant to the Executive Director at Parents’ and Children’s Services in Boston. She has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Yale Alumni in Public Health for many years and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Housatonic Community College Foundation. Lynne attended Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY and Windham College in Putney, VT where she received a B.A. in English Literature, she also earned an M.S. in Education from the University of Bridgeport, CT and she earned an M.P.H. in Health Services Administration from Yale University in New Haven, CT.
