Mr. Chicos is the founder of the Mary Christie Foundation, which he established as The Christie foundation in 2003. He is the former Founder, Chairman and CEO of The Chickering Group, the nation’s leading provider of student health insurance, which was acquired by Aetna Life Insurance Company in 2003. Mr. Chicos has long-standing relationships with universities and hospitals and community organizations. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Boston University, Trustee Emeritus of Mount Auburn Hospital, member of the External Executive Board of the Institute for Global Leadership at Tufts University, a member of the Board for the Greater Boston YMCA, a Global Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and a member of The Kraft Center National Leadership Council. Mr. Chicos received his BS from Harvard University.
