Yema currently studies Medical Anthropology of Mental Health at Brown University and is dedicated to mental health advocacy in both social and institutional realms. She is part of the Executive Team for Project LETS Inc. as Blog Editor and Graphic Illustrator and is also a Peer Mental Health Advocate at its university chapter at Brown. When she’s not trying to change the world, she can be found getting lost in books, writing, or art.
