Dr. Howe is the former President and CEO of Project HOPE. Previously, Dr. Howe was the President of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for fifteen years, where he held the Distinguished Chair in Health Policy. Dr. Howe is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Howe has a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, and later completed the Health Systems Management Program at Harvard Business School.
