Ms. Zane is a former president and CEO of Tufts Medical Center. Prior to joining Tufts, she was network president for Partners Healthcare System Inc. and a former CEO of Quincy Hospital. Ms. Zane is a former Chair of the board of the Massachusetts Hospital Association, has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health, and is a member of the Health Policy and Management Executive Council at the Harvard School of Public Health. She was given the Lifetime Achievement Awards from both the Boston Business Journal and the American College of Healthcare Executives of Massachusetts and was named one of the 10 most powerful women in healthcare by HealthExecNews.com. Currently, Ms. Zane is a director at Paraxel, a global bio/pharmaceutical service; Haemonetics Corporation, a blood company; Press Ganey, the pre-eminent provider of data to hospitals and physicians concerning patient experience in multiple clinical settings; and at Brooks Automation, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Ms. Zane received her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, and a master’s from the Catholic University of America.
